Hi,
2 issues I need help with!

First, same as another poster. Messages. Besides "go" sms, FB messenger, google, stock messenger that the phone came with and what's app, what is the best app even if I have to pay I can use? The app runs slow and can't send multiple pics. Also when I send a message with multiple recipients when they reply I receive a message from each person and the same message in the group message???

#2.. This one is important.. Is there a great and easy app I can copy all my over 55,000 text messages to? I need probably 30k of them as they are important work messages. I want to clean them up (read and delete the ones I don't need) and put them back into a new note 8. Sprint Servers won't allow me to copy directly to my pc. Need an readable app to do it..

Thank you so much!

I know about smart switch and will use that once I clean and go through the unwanted individual messages.

I think the app (any app) is sluggish because of the size of your message database. 55K is a bit mind boggling and I'm surprised it hasn't crapped out by now. Just to be clear, is this a single text from 55,000 different people? Or, 55,000 messages from the same person? (more contacts or longer threads, in essence.)

Maybe if you described how you use these messages we can recommend something that will work better. Frankly, there are no high capacity industrial SMS apps that I know of.

I use an app called SMS Backup & Restore from Carbonite that you can use to move your texts from one device to another (and more importantly, if they are that important, back them up off your phone.) They do let you edit the content and selectively restore, but I'm not sure how good it will be for those volumes.

It was 75k! I cleaned up a bunch. It was a painful process and took hiurs and hiurs to do one by one. It is a total of between 55 and 65,000 messages. My ex wife alone has 27000! I need those for a just in case situation but the others not do much. I Jane 5000 from my sister and would like to keep just incase she dies God forbid and so on.

I Jane Ben transferring text from phone to phone add I get new ones since 2009 ish..
A lot of then are from business and important. I would love to keep most. That's why in trying to find a app or some program I can download on my computer and pick and choose what I want to keep them put them back into my phone..
I used 'sms backup' last time but I couldn't pick and choose or read the messages (I think) the individual messages I wanted to keep or delete..
Thanks
