Just curious as to who preordered at a boxstore and what they were told as far as arrival. I have heard some say the 15th and a Sam's club told me they now won't get them till the 24th. I did end up having no choice but to go direct from Sprint, but I did preorder from Sam's earlier. Glad I did go Sprint now though as it is looking like I will definitely be getting it earlier than most box stores. Still not sure though. Interested to hear what others have been told.

After my experience with Sam's Club with both Note 7 recalls, I vowed to NEVER buy a phone through Sam's Club again. And Best Buy has a whopping 15-day return window. I don't know about Walmart's deals, but you would probably be better off buying from your carrier or Samsung directly. My 2¢

I bought a large towel from Sam's Club in Zhuhai last week, that was alright and no problems with it. First time I'd actually been to Sam's Club and made a purchase, and we only went there to get out of the way of Typhoon Hato.

Where I am, I just wouldn't buy a phone from a place like Sam's Club, Gome, Suning, or other big box general retailer. One thing they'r usually more expensive than actually going to the dedicated brand stores and dealers I've found, like Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, ZTE, Xiaomi, etc. and may not receive the dedicated service and support either. Big box stores are fine for domestic appliances etc, like fans, A/C, washing machines, rice cookers, toaster ovens, etc.

Apparently they had great difficulty in selling them though.

Who'd pay 200,000.00 for a tech product that was a couple of generations behind and was already obsolete? It took Vertu long enough to finally realize there's was no future left for their uber-expensive, diamond studded Symbian phones.

Dubai is a pretty curious place. They sprouted all those gorgeous buildings, artificial islands, luxury hotels....

AND FORGOT THE SEWAGE SYSTEM!

All day, all night, poop trucks pump the septic tanks and haul it all out to the desert somewhere! An endless parade of sewage trucks, and those drivers do that all day, every day. Pump, drive, bump. Pump, drive, dump. Talk about prior proper planning!
