Over on Android central a couple days ago I was contacted by this awesome guy who offered me a Google pixel XL 128g for just $300 dollars. Being that I happen to be more of a fan of the Nexus 6p he had three of them one being brand new never used sealed in box. He offered it to me for only $150! This is the 64g model too in frost white. I wanted the silver but at this deal there was no way I could pass that up. Plus I've got two Red skins on order for it anyway. One was supposed to have arrived today but typical for the post office it is late. What do you guys think about the deal I got? Did I do really well or just an average deal. I was thinking I did pretty good because it's the 64g model and it was brand new never used with the plastic still on it. It's outside of warranty but still being brand new I had the Oreo update waiting on me to install it. I'm hoping I won't have any of these battery issues that I've read about lately. I've owned the 6p before but in a 32g model which at the time about 10 months ago I paid $399 for. I thought $150 was a killer deal. What do you guys think?

Google won't replace a device you purchased secondhand. They'll only interact with the person who originally purchased the phone directly from them. You'd have to try your luck with Huawei.

Oh really? Well I have kept in touch with the guy who sold it to me and if I do run into any battery issues which I hope I do not because I would rather have the Nexus 6p all day long over the Pixel XL but in the off chance I do have an issue I'll just contact the nice guy who gave me the deal of the century on a brand new one that had never even been opened and have him shoot Google a email for me which I know he won't mind doing for me so I will get covered one way or another. I actually would rather have the 5 inch pixel though which I can see that probably not happening. Had the Pixel had dual front firing stereo speakers too and had a 5.7 inch screen then maybe I wouldn't have minded having the xl model. Plus the 6p looks or design is ten times better looking then the Pixel to me personally. I typically keep two devices one smaller which is normally my daily driver and one larger screen as that is my media phone. The only thing I like about the Pixel is that they actually make a 5 inch phone which to me is the perfect size phone for daily use. You can easily use it in one hand so if I were to ever get a pixel it would be their 5 inch model. That's the perfect size phone as you still get a big enough screen for some media and it's also small enough to easily put in your pocket and go.

There are some tricky Clone phones out now.

I assure you it's not a clone lol. I just got a awesome deal. I know it's hard to believe. I couldn't either but in this case it's 110 percent real. I've owned one before so I knew as soon as it arrived it was real. Actually I knew it was real by just talking to the guy by phone plus he shipped me the phone before I even paid him. I paid by no

I bought 2 Nexus 6P's. The first one directly from Huawei in late 2015 and the second one from Amazon in April of 2016. Both phones started experiencing battery issues. Huawei wanted me to pay over $170 plus shipping to have them fix the battery on the first one because the one year warranty had run out. Found a local shop that replaced the battery for $71. Using that phone and working great. The second 6P started experiencing battery issues just after the one year Amazon warranty expired. Contacted Amazon and they told me to contact Huawei. Once again Huawei wanted me to pay to replace the battery. Sent the response to Amazon and they had me return the phone to them and issued a full refund.

I also love the 6P. One of the best phones I've ever used but Huawei has a problem with the battery and refuses to accept responsibility. No wonder Google dumped them from building any future devices for them. I hear that AT&T is working with Huawei to build an AT&T exclusive phone with them. Good luck AT&T. Be prepared to have lots of unhappy customers.

There's got to be more to the story

More to what story?  That I got a killer deal?  Lol. Goodness have none of you gotten an awesome deal before to be so overly skeptical?  Yes I paid $150 for a new frost white 64g Nexus 6p. I really wanted silver but when you get a deal like that you take it and deal with the color. The guy had three of them. One being new which I bought. The two others were used and no box. Actually two of my forum buddies bought his other two he had for similar deals to mine. You know there are still some generous people left out there so he was one of them. I'm using the phone right now. It's real. My deal was real. If you just seriously don't believe me then I can tell you I don't really care to be honest. Lol. I got a awesome deal. I'm still in shock over it but if you think there is more to my story then be my guest. I have zero reason to lie about what I paid the man. There is nothing more to my story than what I've said lol. Will I resell it at $150?  No way. I'll actually make money off this deal rather than loose money like I normally do buying new phones and selling them. I'll give someone a decent deal but I won't resell it for $150. I'm not sure what more to my deal you are wanting to hear. Oh I paid him extra to overnight it to me so technically I paid $150 plus $32.55 in shipping to be exact for you. Do the math and that will tell you what I have total in this brand new phone. There's your other part of the story.
