My mail in rebate experience:
I sent everything in, receipt, UPC label from box, etc. Got a nice little postcard from Verizon saying that my rebate could not be processed because I was "missing" the label from the box that had those numbers on it. So I called the 800 number for the rebate center. Yesterday the man I spoke to was very nasty and told me nothing could be done because I did not make a copy of the label (even though I have the box in my hand with the hole where it was cut out AND a copy of the receipt). So I called again today expecting to have to speak with a supervisor. I explained that I know for sure that I sent it in, and whoever opened the envelope must have lost it. The lady was very nice, spoke to her supervisor for me, and came back and told me they will let the rebate go through as a "one-time courtesy"
This is why I hate mail in rebates. Anyone else have stories about their Incredible rebate?
