Help insensitive spot on lower right of screen ?

Seems I may have an insensitive spot of screen on lower right. It is where the 'done' key of the keyboard is, Or the most lower right app icon. So after I type a PIN in the lock screen, I press 'done' and many times it does not register. (I tested the spen in that area and it is fine). I did have Verizon put on a Verizon screen protector in store prior to using phone so I never tested without that protector.
Experience with this? Possible likely cause and fix? Thoughts, suggestions?

Try turning off Spen from settings but check if theirs an option in setting to enable high sensitvity if not it msy be a digitizer issue or a software bug test it with other keyboards and see if it does the samething

The spen seems to work fine without any dead spots.
The insensitivity is both on the keyboard key 'done', And the most-lowest-right app icon, so may not be a function of the keyboard type per se.

running 3rd party launchers? magnetic case? screen protector?

No 3rd party launchers.
Spigen ultra hybrid s with magnetic kickstand but magnet part is on other side as insensitive spot and spen works well over whole surface
Using a Verizon screen protector. I have not tried phone without the protector.

OP, try Settings -> Lock Screen and Security -> Screen Lock Type (probably will already say "PIN" and anything else you're using). It should then say "Confirm PIN." Go ahead and do that and hit Done somehow with your spen or Next. It will then return to the Screen Lock Type screen. Hit PIN. Before entering your PIN, check the box that says "Confirm PIN without tapping OK." It may act like it wants you to 'change' your PIN but just use your current one, twice. That's it, you can just back out to your home screen. It should no longer make you tap Done when entering your PIN.

I'm sorry if this seems complicated, but I'm going through the steps as I type this and it should work. Post any questions...

I don't mean to be uneducated here, but what does that have to do with this OP'S topic?

I'm really sorry if I messed up here, but I was letting the OP know how to eliminate the need for tapping Done after entering a PIN. I realize there is an insensitive spot on his screen which multiple people have helped with. Only trying to assist...

Thanks Redeye. I understood you.
I will try with case off. And if still problem, I will investigate the verizon screen protector with Verizon.

UPDATE

Update I swapped screen protector from Verizon Wireless to Zapp, and seems to have solved touch problem (though only tested for a few hours); Verizon admitted Zapp working better than their own brand for the N8 specifically (now with almost 2 months experience for them)
But now Zapp may have a rainbow effect (esp. on dark background screen) but let me see with more time if this is a real problem or not.
I'll google this issue, but anyone having feedback on rainbow, please comment.
