How do you flip the screen vertically on Android?

I have Android 5.1.1 and I couldn't find a way to flip the screen vertically on Android nor an app with that functionality. 180º rotation (which can be seen as flipping both vertically and horizontally) is not my purpose. My purpose is to flip only vertically but not horizontally. How can I get this feature, please?

Thank you for your time!

Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. Simply turn the device to change the view.

· Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification panel.

· Tap Auto Rotate.

Tapping Auto Rotate locks the screen into the current viewing mode (e.g. Portrait, Landscape).

· To return to Auto rotate, tap the current mode icon (e.g. Portrait, Landscape).

You didn't understand what I meant. I don't need rotation. I need vertical flipping.

Sounds like you intend to view via a mirror or are rear projecting possibly?

Some Android devices can flip vertically, and/or horizontally as well if required, like my Android projector.

What Android device have you actually got there, and what is your intended purpose for flipping the image around? There might be a third-party app to do it, I've never looked myself.

Are you yrying for a mirror image droidbutton? I'm not sure if that's possible.

There is this passive smartphone projector that is basically cardboard and a lens. When putting my smartphone on it the projected image is flipped, which means I need either to 1. flip vertically and not horizontally or 2. to flip horizontally and not vertically and then rotate 180º. This is my goal and this is what I need to have the correct image. There must be some kind of app that does this, or is there not such kind of app?

Do you have the "Cardboard" app installed on your device? You need that. Its free in the Play Store.
Which "Cardboard" app?
Are you not confusing the VR Cardboard from Google with the Cardboard projector? They are not the same thing. Both share that they are made of cardboard, but the first has two lenses and the second has only one and while the first doesn't not have a flipped image as output, the second does.

I think it only works with Iphones.

Being completely passive it should work with any phone really, the main things are to flip the display on one axis only, and also the phone must have sufficient brightness to actually be able to project anything useful. Real projectors usually have a powerful lamp or LEDs in them, phones do not as they're intended for direct viewing, so quite frankly I don't think it's any more than a novelty.
