Help Screen staying on during call

When I'm on a call, the screen stays on. My previous phone's sensor would shut the screen off when my face was near the phone. I can't find a setting to turn on the sensor. Anyone else having this issue?

No one else is having this issue? Does anyone know where in the settings this can be changed? Thanks in advance!

Under Settings>Display do you have Block accidental touches turned on? This setting is supposed to prevent your phone from turning on while in your pocket or bag and accesses the proximity sensor. If it is turned off that might be your problem. Covering the sensor with your face could be considered a "dark place"!
Mind you I'm just guessing here.
