Got it in yesterday, went on without a hitch. Even was able to get rid of the little bubles around the touch pad.
A little tip, the little "chad" is usually thrown away fits over the camera lens perfectly with no lifts or ubbles if you want that extra security. I have the AF so it's pretty useless for me, lol, but may come in handy if you have the crystal cover.

How did you avoid the bubbles around the trackpad, I can't seem to do it. Always the exact same crescent shaped bubbles, one on each side.

The little tip/cover thing on the Crystal clear is actually blue like the protective film that comes on it, so it's not useful either.

I still can't decide whether or not to stick with the AF or switch to the Crystal. I really like the feel of the AF and the lack of finger oil, but I'm jealous of how clear the screen looks on my wife's with the Crystal every time I look at it.

I used my Drivers Lic to go back and forth over the touchpad horizonaly with the flat side acting kinda like a planer. After a few passes they were gone.

I am actually very happy with the AF. I am already used to it and was actually expecting a whole lot worse. I don't care how good the screen looks, if you have to look through face sweat and finger print smudges it's not going to look all the great anyways. The AF, in my opinion, makes you look less like a slob and gives it a classy refined look. If someone wants to check out your kick'n phone, it's nice to show them something with a nice cleen screen. Not to mention the texture is really nice too.

I put on a Steinheil Crystal Clear last night. No matter what I did I could not get the air bubbles around the joystick to go away. In the end I lifted the film, dabbed the area around the cutout with a piece of scotch tape and now most of the air is gone. There are still a couple of very small crescent-shaped pockets under there, but they're small enough that I can live with it.

i really like the texture and all but i am worried that since it makes it a bit dim i will want the brightness all the way up which means my battery goes down. Does it make it THAT much dim or an amount that you can deal with?

It doesn't really dim so much as to make it blurry. Small text, like browsing the web or in gmail, gets almost too blurry to see comfortably. And just so you know your OLED display sips your battery....try it on full for a while it isn't a huge difference from 40% brightness :)

So don't worry about the dimming with the STEIN AF's....decide whether the blurry picture is something your willing to trade off for it's fantastic sliding, anti-glare, and anti-finger-sludge properties.

IMHO, you don't need to kick the brightness up. It really is not that bad at all. Like I said before, I expected the worse and was very pleasantly suprised. I did try full brightness, and it looked even sweeter but I just put it on auto and call it a day. Not haveing lights reflect off the screen, no fingerprints or gook, these make the screen much nicer for me.

I just installed mine. It feels ABSOLUTELY GREAT. It makes the screen feel high quality. But there is a difference in clarity but it is not that bad.

I also ordered the Crystal Clear today..will see which I like better. But this is a great product. The blurriness is not that big of a deal.

are they easy to apply?

its very hard to get rid of a lot of the bubbles, there will be quite a few at first

also, its difficult to get it perfectly aligned if you go from the top to the bottom as the directions say. I actually went from the joystick to the top, so the joystick was used for centering and was much easier to get it perfectly aligned.

i guess it depends just how perfect you want it.
