30 min @ 50% using cable modem 8Mbps (advertised) about 5 actual, per speakeasy speed test last night.

I'm downloading now and it is taking forever. There must a boat load of people downloading this. I have a decent cable connection and downloads are usually super fast, but my download rate is sometimes dipping down to 11.0 KB/sec

Update, download just failed and it kicked me out. I was up to 80mb after about 45 minutes of downloading.

I downloaded it...however, I can't load it to my phone...I don't think I know what I'm doing or something...I downloaded sync, and the update...connected my phone, mounted it...and go to run the update and the error I get is:

The download didn't complete successfully and is corrupt (or incomplete). It may have appeared to have downloaded but some folks have been getting errors right towards the very end of the download and the only indication (at least on my PC) is a beep. There is no visual indication that it failed. If you were not around at the time of that beep it may look for all the world like you have a successful download. Sadly, you do not and will probably need to download again.

At this rate, sounds like I'm going to beat most of you to the punch by just driving my ass to the store and having them load it. Kinda figured this would be one instance where having a mac would cause inconvenience, but once again, mac > PC.

I called the store & asked them, they said it'll be later this afternoon b4 they even get it...they didn't even know about it, I told them lmao...they were like it's not out yet, I told them oh yes it is, bout 30 minutes old...

That's odd, I called at like 9:15 this morning and she knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me carte blanche to pick a time to come in and get it updated. Less than one hour from now, the process will be underway.

Then again, there've been so many false starts with this update, I guess I shouldn't be surprised if I show up to the store and she says, "Yeah, my bad, thought you said you had a Moment."

I am gonna give it 1 more try, if it fails again, I am gonna use a ftp client so it will at least pick up where the download left off.

Yea, she was like for the Moment? I was like no Hero, she was like it hasn't come out yet, then she went to talk to the tech who I worked with b4 for another carrier and he didn't know it released. I called around the same time lol. But I downloaded it from the mirror site and it downloaded in less than 5 minutes...i'm loading it now
