Now if they could only figure out how to parse html properly...

Hmm. What html are you talking about?

<span style='font-size:14px';>Just noticed that the mobile app does not show sticky threads in the V30 forum. </span>

By design. Sticky threads seem to just get in the way. Maybe for mobile there is a better way?

Well, it does pose a problem, as I posted a new thread that was already contained in an invisible sticky.

Hi guys, really sorry if this is thread exists, but I can find the search function on this forum app.
I wanted to go to the PC page via mobile browser, but it brings up this app.

Anyways, if you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I also didn't see a category for forum app help so sorry if this doesn't belong here...

Thanks!

Sorry a little late in seeing your thread, but I moved it here so others can help with your AF app issue;)

The app is likely set to automatically handle any androidforums.com URLs. The exact location of that setting may vary based on your device, but on my Nexus 6P with Android 8.0 I can go to Settings &gt; Apps &amp; notifications &gt; Advanced &gt; Default apps &gt; Opening links &gt; Forums and change the Open supported links option to Don't open in this app.

If you can locate that option on your phone then you should be able to use the app when you want to and the mobile web site when you'd rather use that.

That's because there isn't one.

Is there a new protocol when posting or linking pictures? In the 'old days,' we had to post a link from an off-site photo location, such as Photobucket. But since many of those off-site photo sites are no longer free and are discontinuing the free accounts, I think we're going to end up with a lot of busted links. Does the new forum allow for direct upload of photos? What is the current preference?

Yes it does. :thumbsupdroid: In fact AF has always allowed pictures attached to posts AFAIK. And that's what I've always done.

Not only the apparent demise of free picture hosting and hotlinking like with Photobucket, when browsing from a mobile device some sites like Imgur force you to download their Android or iOS apps to view, which I'm NOT doing.

I get a weird bug on the mobile site. Not crucial but when at the top of a page it moves to the left. I do it accidentally sometimes and it's annoying because once it's moved, sometimes as I scroll down I can keep moving it. But if I scroll down before moving it, the page stays locked in place like it should.
