Help [How-to] Official Upgrade to 2.1?

Hi.
I want to upgrade my Spica to android 2.1, officially, without going to the service store?

I have been looking for the answer throughout the forum but in vain. Could someone please guide me how to do it?
Current problems: Initially, NPS didnt detect the phone, just the sd card. then i installed a newer nps, but that said ki update is not required. but, my phone is android 1.5

P.S. I am from Chennai, India in case you still want to recommend some service store for upgrade.

Yes, i am serious. I had read all of the mentioned posts. Here are what they talk about
: unofficial upgrades, samsung stores to get it updated and problems connecting the phone in pc manager mode.

now, i have connected the phone in ps manager mode, but it shows no update is required. please dont jump to saying my phone is already 2.1. it is NOT.

It may be made available for you to install yourself. But when? Ask your provider.
