Help notification sound when i plug in charger 2.1

Before going to 2.1 I could turn off the notification when I plug in the charger. Now I unchecked sd card notification and it still plays the ringer. Kinda anoying when you have a song for your text notification. Any ideas?

Fixed it so text ringer is different than plugging in charger, but default sound on charger is still annoying

Yea I agree also. I don't need a sound notifying me that its plugged or unplugged from the charger...

I don't have a sound when I plug in my charger.

Do you get notifications for text messages when set up like that? If so are you using a third party app for texts, like handcent?

No, I use stock messaging. I tried Handcent when I first bought the Moment but didn't like the appearance (bubbles) I like the compactness of the stock.
Regarding Notifications for Email and Messaging- Yes I assigned specific ringtones to each app and they work great.

Maybe that is the trick, put notifications on silent, and go to each program and have a different tone assigned and checked on.

I read that a long time ago in one of these threads. I also read that to stop the Charger sound to uncheck SD Card Notifications Thus the go figure? But its comforting to hear the sound when hooking up the usb cable. That's why I left it checked this time around.
Gonna check out Joeys kernal update later when I get home.

Been using Joey's Kernel since 7:15pt, and seems to be working fine. My battery seems to really be holding up better. He says he is going to release a new version tonight, but the 0.5 that I'm running now has been good so far, no complaints.

I fixed this on my phone:

Go to settings>sound and display>notification ringtone> and make it silent

then go to messaging>menu>settings>select ringtone and pick one.

I get no sound when plugging into or unplugging from charger, and a text message sound.
