Ok you guys, the wait is over, SoCalSpecialist, and I present to you Fresh 2.1.1

Instructions

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT WIPE..THIS IS A FLASHABLE UPDATE
JUST LOAD TO YOUR SD AND FLASH VIA RECOVERY NO WIPING!!

Whats New:

2.1.1
- power down issue - added quick boot
- mms issue - fixed ( can send and receive )
- dialer has now been skinned
- NEW skinned icons have been added

Its great, everything is so stable and solid. I've tried every rom there is, this one is def in my top 3. I cant see myself changing it for a long time, until somebody changes something major. I'm gonna use this one until someone ports Froyo

I have this installed and i love it so far.
Like LexusBrian, best I've seen. VERY smooth ans fast!

Problem: only problem I've seen is I can't power it down. It will just stay on the power down screen. I have to do a battery pull. Not a big deal, but hope there can be a fix for this.

Question: Noticed that the apps are not on my SD. I only have about 61 mb of internal memory.
I didn't partition the hard drive... so is that the step I missed?
Not sure I care that much because i got all my apps installed and it's smoking fast as is.

But if I did want to get a2sd going? do I have to reflash?
What steps do I take?

yes u have to partion ur sd card, and the power down will be released tonight along side some more icons, 2.1.1 IS COMING.....

This ROM is awesome. It was the only one that felt stable enough for me to change from Grdlock's Vanilla. Can't wait for the 2.1.1!!!! It would be sweet if you could include Handcent and Gmail shortcut icons in the future. Great job.

Thank you so much for this, I was about to throw my Eris through a wall. Two questions: will you be adding friend stream and does this Rom suffer from the silent Eris bug

Major issue: I cant answer the phone when it rings. Also the message app always fc and typing can be dog slow

I have the same issue with the message app. I use Handcent so it's not a big deal.
I highly recommend Handcent. I would be using it even if there wasn't a problem with the message app. There's also Chomp for messaging.

Not sure about your issue with answering calls though.
I have no lag on my dialer whatsoever anymore.

Can you explain your problem a little better?

I hear the phone ring but the answer button never shows up. Pressing the physical button has no effect. Worse I get no record of the call in my history

what pretty pic do u talk about, and @ hanzomon4 the only thing i can think of is a bad flash? maybe didnt wipe? you should try to flash again, thats my opinion or just wait till 2.1.2 drops mayb tomorrow or friday
