Help Dropped LG G5 In 1 Foot Puddle

I dropped it in a puddle for literally 5 minutes before retrieving it. Will it being in a brown paper bag with a fan over it and rice in the bag dry it enough? It was working perfectly after removal i tested charging it too. It didn't even turn off when hitting the water the screen just flashes on and off a bit.

No. Rice won't do it. It's the minerals in the water, ie salt, that will eventually corrode the sensitive electronics. There is probably no chance of saving it at this point, but the experts recommend removing the battery, disassembling the device as much as possible and giving it a bath in rubbing alcohol. Again, it's probably to late for that.
