how to root my eris 2.1 OTA

ok so i know you cant root an eris with 2.1 OTA on it but is there a way to devolve it so to speak to be able to then root it... im knew to the hole root thing and the forum and dont really have the time to spend looking for the right threads to so me how to do this so if anyone can help it will be a lot of help to me. thank you.

If that's the case, you probably won't find enough free time to root.

BTW, I think there is a way to root OTA 2.1. Check the root forum (if you have the time).
