@The_Chief , and I am well aware of other people having issues with this device.
im from the school of thought in that lets first try to see if the phone can be troubleshot before assuming its the fault of the device.
there are thousands upon thousands of these devices out in the world and there will be some faulty devices off the assembly line just by the nature of the mass assembly process, so just because its a 'growing' thread/concern does not mean the end of the world.
ive had this note8 since the first production run last year. i use it hard and put it away wet every day. I have everything set to max performance and am always downloading large amounts of data and I have not ever had this device freeze, lock up, or slow down to date, so if i can achieve that kind of success, id rather help someone else out first before lumping them into a 'its a well known problem' stance and wipe my hands of them...
