Ok,

I hope to root my phone and as such am going to purchase a new sd card

What would members suggest to buy, was thinking class 6 and 8GB?

Where would members suggest best place to buy

When I come to root, is there an idiots guide and i do mean idiots step by step guide of how to do it

thanks as ever

I got mine from amazon, really quick. Ordered one afternoon, got it in the post the next day.
Question is do you think 8GBs is going to be enough?
I went for 16GBs as then I can store more music on it. I'm not overly keen on constantly deleting music to make room for new music I want to listen to.

As for rooting the guides are idiots guides, BUT if you encounter problems a lot of reading of thread posts, google searching and patience will be required to get you the answers.
I'm running XP and there are driver issues that need to be overcome before you can root or even make a goldcard.

Your comment raised a question in my mind.. how well does the Legend do battery-wise for listening to music? I haven't tested it much as yet. I don't expect it to be as good as a dedicated mp3 player, but it'll be interesting to hear how it holds up.

I just came from morning traffic to work, and listened almost a full album and the battery is still 100%. So I guess it does pretty good.
