Help Deleting unwanted homescreens

What home app are you using?

I'm not using any. Its just the standard screens that come with the Galaxy Portal version of Android 2.1 I'm using from samsung-firmwares.com JD1 I think it is.
Some of the experimental Firmwares release on samsung-firmwares.com change the default launcher to Helix Launcher. You may in fact be using helix rather than the default launcher. And just to clarify, you are not using a Galaxy Portal version of 2.1.

The name Portal is just that. A name. Depending on which region you are from the Portal is also called the Galaxy Spica and Galaxy Lite. The Model is all the same, though. The Samsung I5700.

If you downloaded a firmware from samsung-firmwares.com, you installed an experimental release for the Galaxy i5700.

You can always use a different Launcher than the default Panthelon.

There are a couple of very good replacements out there.

I use HelixLauncher 1 . See Market Place. (N.B. HelixLauncher 2, crashed on my Spica, and Helix1 is faster, even by the author's own admission).

There's a discussion on various Home replacements, right here on Androidforums.

Home Launcher Replacements

If you try one of these, and don't like it, uninstall it and go back to Panthelon.

And of course, un-install any new home replacement, before trying another one. Doh!
