Bliss is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device as well as your PC, and we hope you have a truly blissful experience.

Bliss-caf is CAF based, optimized, and includes the most features out of all our branches. More features and devices are being added weekly to this branch. It will be the most updated.

Bliss-decaf is AOSP based, slimmed down, optimized, and included a ton of extra features added in from various roms, and we will continue to add more as they become available. We will keep up to date with the latest AOSP code, and updates will be posted on a regular basis, but not as often as out Bliss-CAF branch.

Bliss-x86 is our Bliss for PC project, will have a few PC centric extras added in to help with application compatibility, mouse integration, keyboard shortcuts, tc. And we have added a few little linux throwbacks like bash and busybox commands, integrated Terminal and much more.

Please do not ask for ETA's. We will update the links as soon as they become available.

Team Bliss is not responsible in any way for anything that happens to your device in the process of flashing.
Please familiarize yourself with flashing and custom rom use before attempting to flash the rom.
Please make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your specific device. The links are labeled clearly.

FIRST CHECK SECOND POST - Make sure your device doesn't have any special instructions.

• Make sure you are rooted.
• Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (TWRP is the preferred recovery)
• Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package.
• Boot into recovery.
• Backup your current ROM
• Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
• Flash Bliss Rom
• Flash Google Apps package (for 7.1!)
• Flash Root of your choice (Unless OP states otherwise)
• First boot may take up to 10 minutes. This is due to Gapps and root optimization.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you and our team quite some time.

-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
-You can also open trouble tickets on our website for bugs.

1. Are the empty bullet points in the features area because those options aren't in this ROM? Like how in the recents area, there are no options listed. Does that mean there is no recents customization options?

2. I see in your screenshot that the latest security patch is from April 2017, is that just an old screenshot? Or is that what it's actually at?

I'm missing my thumbprint reader, so thinking of flashing this one lol

Typo, thanks for pointing it out. The April 2017 patch is in fact the latest for Bliss's n7.1, unless one of us manages to update it further. That is on my project list of things to do, but is currently beyond me atm

Edit: does this Rom have the option to move the recent button? I like mine on the bottom right. That's the only thing I can think of I'd miss from the rim I'm on lol. Thanks!

Adding WireGuard kernel support help the WireGuard VPN service run cooler and more efficiently on the device.. I was enjoying it. That has been fixed

I haven't tried this FDroid build with gapps flashed, since it's originally made to run WITHOUT gapps (think Anti-Google ROM, Lol).. No update issues or anything on my end resulted. But I did notice that the setup wizard can take a long time to 'check for updates' cuz it takes time to configure the service for one thing, then it looks for ROM updates via the Official Bliss server. Maybe give it some time after boot and come back, finish setup ..might help

Flashing GApps does hurt. It's stuck on "checking for updates" I thought me and another person clearly stated that. If we try to skip the setup, it says "goggle play has closed" and nothing happens.

This, like most of the roms you've created, is totally unusable. This one more so than the rest because we can't even get past the initial Google setup.

This version of FDroid has some unofficial Google GMS stuff that could be conflicting with real gapps. Have you tried the ROM without said gapps?

I'm assuming that you're speaking of the FDroid version again? PLZ keep in mind that I already updated post #2 about flashing Gapps. I also be fixing the updater so that ppl running regular BlossROM won't be getting update notification to install FDroid.

Ok thanks for your feedback. Changelog has been updated to reflect this issue (see post #2). I'm presuming the dev team may address this issue in a future release.

Bliss Official Update rolled out (regular ROM), changelog of fixes are in post #2. OTA update will only update regular ROM, I think.

Also uploaded a separate new FDroid version that is Gapps safe and removed fdroid build with broken MicroG pkg. Must manually download from Bliss website, in Device Downloads under 'owens'

- In the Settings-AboutPhone-BlissOTA there's an option to manually check for updates if you get impatient while waiting for the update notification,
- Or you can just go to the https://blissroms.github.io website and manually download

The camera will have bugs from time to time. When this happens recordings will freeze either after the first second or after 30 seconds. Soft reboots will make it pass, though it's quite tedious to reboot every now and then to make the camera recordings work.

I forgot to mention: There seems that I have a rw issue with my internal storage; I can't flash apps as system apps. It just won't let me do it. I don't know if it has something to do with the ROM, but I'm still going to leave it here. I tried to flash Chrome as a system app (I didn't flashed the stock gapps bc nah, I'm quite good with the micro gapps) because JellyBrowser sucks. And I'm not a fan of the camera interface either lol.
Is there a way to enable One Touch navigation using the fingerprint scanner? I looked up into this feature but it seems that Bliss doesn't has this feature lol.

Nevertheless, I love the way Bliss optimized my charging speed, and let's not say about the battery life... AWESOME. That's the only reason I'm not downgrading to the stock rom.
Is there any plans on making an Android Oreo ROM for this variant? There are LineageOS and Resurrection Remix Android Oreo ROMS for the Nicklaus variant.
Will stay tuned for future updates.

I'll see if I can look into the camera fix, if any. And yes, I agree that Jelly Browser sucks but I felt I needed to ad a browser to some ROMs that had none.. But I did notice that CandyROM has a decent Browser worth considering keeping around..

That Fingerprint Navigation is known as Moto Actions and yes. I think @amarc78 is looking into that one, hopefully he can get that straight for us on this E4 Plus.
