I have a low end android phone with 2gb of internal storage and it shows that I have only 45mb left of space all thou I have Nothing except whatsapp on it and all the images/videos/media/files are stored on sd card.
Here is the strange thing: It shows that all my files including system and everything take up 1gb so in theory I should have 1gb free. The graph that shows storage also is glitched and shows 1gb free but underneath it shows that only ~54 mb the free space is left. Nothing is taking up that space and I can do basically nothing with this amount of space.
My chase is empty and it shows that I have nothing but apps on internal storage.
In the screenshot I added you can see what I described. (Sorry that it's in other language).
My phone knows that it has 1gb free but for what ever reason it thinks that only 45mb is free.

Can you help me? Thanks!

P. s. Can it be done without system restore? Also I will have problems installing tools if I need them for recovery due to limited space.
Tried searching solutions on google and found nothing related...

With only 2GBs of internal storage, you're always going to have to divert a lot of time just freeing up a few MBs of free storage space. That simply isn't enough storage for any daily usage phone. You will always be frustrating yourself fighting with this phone to do just basic tasks. Just for your own peace of mind I'd recommend you think about upgrading to a newer, more capable phone. One that you can just use, not one that you're going to get aggravated each time you pick it up to do something. You don't have to spend a lot getting a flagship model either, there are a lot of models that are relatively cheap and still very usable for most people. This article is good starting place to look for a new, budget class phone:

or if you for whatever reason prefer not to buy new, there's a growing market for used, pre-owned phones. Try looking at swappa.com and look for a phone with a minimum of 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage. More is of course better but there are a lot viable choices in that range:

I know that everyone is going to say this but I just spent all my money on a pc and will get more only next year. Regardless of low storage space this phone has been good and I don't use it for serious gaming or anything so it works well for now. So please post only if you know a salution thanx!

Are you sure that all of your files including system and other stuff are included in that 1GB? The system storage menu isn't always consistent between different devices as to what it displays, and I can't read the description in your screenshot.

If you had a little more space I'd suggest using an app like DiskUsage to get a more detailed picture, but I guess you don't have space to install anything at the moment.

If you have to hang on to it, for a while, get rid of any app that you can access from a browser.

Everyone wants for you to download "their" app, but if it can be found on a browser, don't.

My pharmacy wants me to get their app, nope.
Facebook, Gmail, even AF can all be accessed.

When every MB of space is critical, disabled and delete...

Well, there's a reality that you're apparently not willing to accept. There is no real solution to fix your problem, your current phone is simply too limited to do what you want it to do. You can do things to free up a few MBs here and there but the bottom line is any 'solution' will only be a temporary one, things that you will need to do on a repeated and frequent basis. Since you don't want to get a phone that is usable as is, at best you just need to set your expectations to match the limitations of your current phone.

I'm a little unsure of this. It's certainly true that there is nothing in that screenshot to say that the 1GB described as used includes the system stuff (it's labelled as "app data and media", which to me means it does not include any system files). But phones with only 4GB installed typically use 2GB for the system stuff, and that menu is I think saying that there are 2GB in total (Google translate had a bit of trouble with that phrase) while the specs say there should be 4 GB installed, so it might be that the 2GB excludes the system partitions. It's that or this phone has less storage in total than the specifications claim.

I'd feel more confident if we could see what Storage Truth says about it, since then we'd know the actual size of the data partition unambiguously. But some minimum amount of space would need to be cleared before anything can be installed, how much depends on where the manufacturer set the threshold.

I would back up everything now, in case a reset is needed. I'd personally try to clear enough space to install Storage Truth and DiskUsage so I could get a clearer picture of what's happening, but if there's a real problem rather than a poorly-designed system Storage menu I suspect that any solution might indeed involve a reset, so I'd back up as a precaution.

I agree on the poor design but I think something is wrong with the software because for the past 3 years its been serving me good and the storage was fine and trust me I have viped every smallest bit of storage exept for WhatsApp because I fear that I wont be able to install it back. I hope someone knows how to fix it but if not I am going to do system restore.... Thanks thou

Also if there was a partition it would show that storage as used

Possibly a WhatsApp update pushed it over the edge? It is known that app updates can and do increase their requirements over previous versions.
You can install it from here, including older versions that may or may not still be supported.

Whatsapp is taking up 110 mb no need to worry about it. I had whatsapp, clash royale, comic reader, notepad, cleaner and pvz 2 on it at the same time last year witch leads me to beleave that something went wrong in the system and it only thinks that it has no space. My phone says in system info that it has 4gb but it allways has shown that it has only 2gb and I am fine with that. (prob the system takes up that space) the QUESTION IS: WHY IF ALL MY APPS TAKE UP HALF THE SPACE LEFT THE OTHER HALF IS UNACCESSABLE? As you can see in the screenshot the gray color represents the free space and in the graph it takes up half the space from 2gb but says 54mb allso the green color shows all the other apps and they are 1gb in total so graph is fine an shows everything as it is but the phone somehow thinks that only 54mb is left allthou you can clearly see that half of the storrage is free! Did you get it now? Some glitch restricts phone from using that 1gb of space saying it doesnt exist. KEEP IN MIND THAT IT EXISTED BEFORE AND NOTHING IS TAKING IT UP! Can someone help? If you dont know the salution then dont post that I need to change phone please. Trust me If I could I would...
