What's the weather like where you are?

They planted these damn flowering pear trees much too close to the sidewalk. Sure, when they were saplings, there was no problem, but trees do have this annoying tendency to grow.

And, the low branches now hang over the sidewalks which puts them around 5' off the ground.

Trust me, I feel your pain. I have to mow under them daily. Most of problem trees were professionally planted and were to satisfy the area covenants.... come on man! Try mowing an area's commons sometime.... sheesh! I'm sure it all looked great when the area was new. Now most of the foliage is way over grown and looks bad as well as being a hazard. Not to mention the trash they dump on the sidewalks.....

Up N Down in the Midwest ... Wednesday was nearly a record high (mid 90's) then yesterday it never broke the 50's then today started in the 50's with rain, now it's sunny and 70's ... heading to a promised 80ish.

Ahhh life in the plains.

Missed you guys. It's been ... crazy in my world. But I'm still breathing.

Glad to see that you are hanging in there. Yep, our weather is crazy. Nineties, high fifties, and then near ninety again is crazy. Was extremely foggy here in the early AM. Quite cool, overcast, and wet until the noon hour. Then, like someone hit the switch, the sun came out and it got HOT all over again.

Jumping all up and down the thermometer here too. Open the windows, close the windows, open only some windows - no, close the damn windows...

I feel your pain and then some. I turned off the AC the other day when it first got cooler. Then I had to turn the darn thing back on because it was miserably hot in the house. However... no AC. I guess a few days off blew it's mind.
$165 later I had it fixed but I didn't need it then. Sheesh! Today I was glad it was working. :)
