What's the weather like where you are?

The weather is very pleasant. The air is horrible due to a wildfire burning 90 miles northerly of Sacramento (the pic is of the smoke plume taken from sacto, that’s huge!). We’re another 80 or so miles from there, but the smoke is blocking the sun. Ash is falling in some bay areas, just awful. For those of us with asthma or other breathing disorders (or are they ‘challenges?’ - I can’t keep up with the PC crowd) the air is potentially life-threatening.

So there I was, enjoying a nice cup of coffee when I looked out the window and there was this white stuff falling from the sky. For a minute I thought maybe a plane carrying a shipment of "MyPillows" had been struck by a flock of white geese, but no, it was snow. Sheesh, right from summer to winter ... again.

Nothing stuck, and the sun's out now, but still .... sheesh.

I don't know what the heck PenDot is smoking, but NONE of the roads are getting treated. it's a friggin' mess out there. Accidents all over the place. It's not like they didn't know it was coming.

We have had so much rain that the roads are still weeping, so there are many roads with 4+ inches of ice on them already. This is gong to be a bad winter.
