Post your life rules you live by and share with others?

There are four main rules I live by:
1) "Stuff happens" stuff was used in a choice of a better word.
2) stuff happens on a regular basis.
3) don't forget the first and second rule.

4) don't get attached to nothing and nobody because it hurts less if and when it has to go away.

That's a bit Nihilistic @KBU2

I prefer only two rules.

1.) Set unacheivable goals.*
2.) I am only in competition with myself.

*This is more of a philosophy than a rule. I prefer to push the envelope, rather than be constrained by it ... think outside the box rather than be trapped in it. Sure, when you rarely make your goals you tend to view yourself occasionally as a failure, but if you win all the time, then winning means nothing.

Of course you could live by Rodney Dangerfield's rules .... Always look out for number one, but don't step in number two! :D

That depends on how much you've lived and lifes circumstances you've dealt with to understand what I'm talking about. But If one chose to attempt on describing me should lean more towards a word like nostalgic.

1. don't hang around with folks who use words you need to google, you'll feel stupid :D
2. Conversely, continue to hang around with folks who use words you need to google, it will improve your own vocabulary :D :D

That Moses guy that did the first cloud download has a pretty good set of rules. I usually stick pretty close to those. I'm a bit upset they don't address the decorative towels vs. regular towels, but other than that, they work.
HA! I had to think about that one. Nice one! Agreed with you there :)

If it's plugged in don't lick it :D
Seriously though it's treat people like I'd like them to treat me. Sounds a bit boring but just the way I am. Found a random persons phones on the way to work the other day. It had their address on their driving license which was inside the case, so I dropped it off on my way home. Now if everyone in the world would do that for someone they don't even know the world would be a better place. Alas though, just wishful thinking :(

Yes do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That Moses guy came down from the Sinai mountains with that one. My mother raised me to believe and practice that until people start seeing you as a soft touch then it stop working.

Never been religious so that's not why I'm the way I am. If I believed in that I'd be going straight to Hell as I've never been christened or baptized. The theory has always sounded flawed to me. A murderer who repents on his deathbed would get to heaven but a guy who didn't believe but never did any harm to anyone wouldn't. On that note how's God in heaven? I'm pretty sure the bible is written proof (ignore made up for now) that he committed the seven deadly sins himself. Another reason why I'd never make it there, I'd drink some of his sons blood, maybe eat a cracker and tell him how it is. End of the day I've lost a phone and it pissed me off. I found that one and my first thought was how to get it back to them. Lucky enough they'd made it easy by putting their driving licence inside :)

Oh I understood your point the first time I was just letting you know where it first enlighten me and the uselessness it brought towards me. At the end of the day just keep a good attitude and the aura you represent and good things should always follow you.

Nah no such thing as karma either. I've had the worst luck since I gave that phone back lol. I'd do it again tomorrow though if I found one.

1) The past is not even in the past . an old age saying found in Rusty Lake video games, took up this saying lately.

2) Always watch yourself in the ying yang, no matter what or another, there is always a few forests to swing over in case of a serious matter.

3) Listen and never speak or be vulgarious.

4) Learn from old antiquing ideas.

5) Search for the ecosystems from within, no matter what you honestly take in partaking more.

6) do not lose track of time.

7) Be honest with someone for less then ten seconds :)

8) Remember bullets are way cheaper then laywers, any time at any places. Always use verbs instead of hiring a pistol to do your dirty work.

9) Never forget to never remember this harsh world.

that is all for now. :)
