[DISCONTINUED] IncipientOS for Perry/Sperry

My first contribution to the E4 world on here, IncipientOS. This is literally just a reskinned Lineage 14.1 with some cool stuff added in. I said experimental because at the time of my initial build I didn't really test it yet, and later on when we made major changes to the build trees this would be the ROM I'd build for first. So to know the TRUE current state of the ROM please look below

WHAT WORKS

• Everything should be fine except what's listed below
• (audio stuff now works!)

WHAT DOESN'T WORK

• Encryption is a hit or miss, and even if it works it might make stuff a bit wonky
• Tethering is busted too
• You tell me

I'd love to hear back from you in terms of how stable it is and what's broken and such. Just know that if this ROM sucks stability wise, my other crDroid one is the way to go

ImHO.. This ROM is pretty tight! Mad props to the team

Does any one have a custom rom for moto e4 Sperry boost mobile I've tryed them all and not one has any data lte I've tryed the blob fix and still nothing need a restore twrp flash or something any thing also is the dun apn still allowing unlimited Hotspot I tryed it but seems to be slow as heck thanks for any help..

Did u ever fix the headphone issue? Cus I can connect to Bluetooth headphones but when I launch my game it doesn't transfer the sound over either. Just wondering if their was a patch/fix that I could flash. Thank u

Not yet unfortunately, but I think there is progress being made. My friend said he MIGHT be able to fix up nougat trees in a little bit of time (maybe a few weeks, maybe within a month), and XDA user squid2 is supposedly currently working on Oreo build trees for this phone.

Unfortunately I can't do anything for you guys now (except urge that you flash my more-stable crDroid), but in the future I hope we can see some better ROMs for this phone

Are you able to figure out how to get the lte working for boost after the update?

If you are running the July update, you screwed yourself.. That breaks modem on customs and are stuck with stock OS if you want data function

I think I found a way to fix the audio issues on this. Testing with a build of crDroid first, if that works I'll be pushing an update for this too.

Well I've got EXCELLENT news for all of you wondering this here, there's a new build from 11-15 that actually fixes audio thanks to the hard work of jasonm45 here. He also said he implemented fixes for Boost and Sprint users so data should be working for you all now. At this point the only thing that still doesn't work is encryption, but you can now safely use this OS as a daily driver.

Pushing out one more update for all you guys here. Turns out FM Radio is now fixed. I didn't even realize this phone was supposed to have FM Radio, but it turns out it is, and it now does. And with this new build I'm working on, it should be included in the ROM. Give one more "hip hip hooray" to JasonM45 for supplying us with this frequency modulated goodness.

Before I go ahead and flash, does this rom have OMS commits and does tethering work? Been really hard to find roms with Tethering specifically, willing to drop OMS support if Tethering is good (using resurrection remix ATM)

Been forever since I used this (and this phone) but I don't remember there being problems with tethering. I don't know if there's OMS support, I never thought to look for it myself because I never cared about using it too much

Gave it a shot and tethering was still broken even in this rom.. starting to feel like it might be an issue with my phone as tethering works perfectly on stock but nothing else
