I need something to track my fantasy baseball and football at espn.com.... can somebody please make an app....
Can someone inform me as to if a dev can even use ESPN in their apps? I would assume there'd be some legality issues in terms of trademark/naming rights no?
Touche. There are so many trademark and copyright violations on the markets its crazy. How bout those people who make a Star Wars theme and then charge 99 cents for it. Wait til Lucas comes down on them.
I'd like to see an ESPN app, period.
AgreedFree would be nice but a $2-$5 app that works GREAT... I'll take it, over a Free app that has problems or doesn't do everything.
Agreed
Devs always complain that marketplace is so full of cheap free crap that they won't make money with an actual "pay for" product. In the case of Fantasy Baseball, there isn't even a cheap crappy program. First dev to make a nice one and put a price on it is ganna rake in the cash

Hey guys,
Thought I'd chime in. I'm the developer behind FantasyMonster for iPhone FantasyMonster App for iPhone|FantasyMonster
It supports all Yahoo! fantasy teams (I'm currently working on full ESPN support).
I've been considering porting to Android but I'm wary of piracy and lack of payment options (Google checkout only).
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that there are devs thinking about doing a fantasy app. I'm an avid fantasy player myself.
I'm leaning toward going for it since there really isn't a lot of competition on Android right now (like there is on iPhone). So if no one else comes out with anything I just might do it.

i want cbs sportsline to come out with a fantasy football app before the season begins. for whatever reason cbs only seems to code for the iphone.
@bignoggins, i just checked the video of your app on the site, and it looks awesome. there is not a single app in the entire android market that can even come close...
really hoping that you can\will port it over
