Alarm not set, but going off anyway

I had set an alarm for 6 am one morning, and deleted the alarm once I was done with it. However the alarm icon still shows at the top of the screen, and the alarm keeps going off. I did check to see that the alarm was actually deleted, and the clock shows no alarms set. Any ideas what's happening here, and how to fix it?

Check that there isn't another clock application installed.

Good call. I was using another clock. I uninstalled and reinstalled and everything is back to normal. Thanks!

No worries. I'm glad it was an easy fix. Some alarm clock apps simply manipulate the system clock settings, so they are just a dressed up UI for the clock that comes preinstalled on the phone, while others only use the time from the system and track all of the alarms separately, what it sounds like in your case.
