Breaking news: investors are worried about a potential slow down at Amazon HQ and have been selling off shares!!

On a company that had a turn over of $72.4bn in 3 months.. making $3bn in profit in 3 months!! 3 months!??!

Wow, these investors must be making huge sums of money to be worry about a little slow down on these numbers..

USA = 22 trillion $ in debt (officially) and hundreds more unofficially. Most countries are all in debt to the bankers ruling the world. We live in a consumerist, capitalist world. Money and material possession accumulation is the way of things.
You can't knock someone down for being successful by building up a business empire. They had the vision and idea, they made it a reality. Why shouldn't they reap the rewards?

Essentially what you're saying is "make money on murder, drugs, surveillance, wars and profiling the masses" using the public purse (ie. Your Money) to spy, censor, murder and control the masses. Make money at any cost.

No morality involved. No conscience. Do deals with murderous thugs and spy on everyone to steal all the business and personal intelligence you can. That goes on daily.

Take my tax money so you can set up a warehouse in my country so you can put thousands of smaller.businesses out of business. Is that capitalism? Is that a level playing field? Crush businesses who don't get such massive amounts of free taxpayer money?

Bezos has a 10 Billion dollar Pentagon contract. Billion with a B. Do you have any idea what capitalism is? It is not getting free tax money to do what you want. It's not murdering and stealing wealth round the world using 'fee' tax money while nations are left with unpayable debt and are forced into perpetual.debt slaevry. That is not capitalism.

That is so far from capitalism it's not funny. There are no 'market forces' here...jus the theft of countless trillions so a few oligarghs can live large and everyone else can be a debt slave...well into the future.

I'm not sure what your beef with Bezos is other then the fact that he's wealthy. I'd be more upset with the Pentagon for violating their own rules in awarding this contract (Joint Enterprise Defense Initiative) to one vendor. For the record, the contract is going out to someone, whether its AWS or Google or IBM or Oracle, the Defense Dept. need someone with the infrastructure to handle whatever jackass program they are planning. Would you rather they spent $50 billion to build their own infrastructure?

You keep throwing around terms like "murder", "killing", "thugs", "war", etc. Whose been murdered by Bezos?

Well I thought capitalism meant trade and business being done by privately owned companies, funded by profits. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Amazon wasn't an organisation run by the state.

As for the other allegations about Bezos, I don't know anything about that, and to be honest, I've no interest in investigating further. All I know is that Amazon provide a good service, at a reasonable price. Do I care what Bezos is up to? Not in the least.
There are, and have been countless other companies which receive support in the form of taxpayer money. And I'm sure many other wealthy or financially successful people have done their fair share of walking over others, and doing shady deals to make more money.
