noLED? Where did it go?

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro AND an Orbit Tracfone. Less than a week ago I was able to download the noLED app off of Playstore. Now, you can't get the app AT ALL, no way, no how. What happened?

My phones do not have LED's and I want something for them. Is there a way that I can copy the app (that I managed to download before it went away) from the Luna Pro to the Orbit? I tried finding it on my Luna and I can't seem to see it. I thought the app Samsung Smart Switch would do it, but all that did was clone all my stuff from one phone to another. And it didn't clone over noLED, I checked apps and it didn't show up.

Can anyone help? Any guidance in this would be greatly appreciated.

The only way I know of to send the apk from one phone to another is to root the phone that has the app installed,. Then use a root explorer to go to system/apps and send the apk to the new phone. Only the phone that has the app needs to be rooted, the phone you're sending it to doesn't.
Hmmm. I think I know what you are talking about and it probably is the only way to do it. But why did the app just poof! all of a sudden. The author of the app now has the noLED Weather app up in its place.

I can only assume something about the app didn't meet Play Store terms and conditions so it had to be pulled. If that's the case then there's a chance it could pop up again once it's been sorted.

A quick search for noLED yielded a number of sites claiming to have it available for download, such as this one, plus some saying they have its APK file available. I have no personal knowledge about any of them; proceed with caution.

BTW, their weather app doesn't work unless you have noLED installed; the fact that it's still in the Play store may be a good sign that the original app will return, since the weather app is useless without it.

It actually makes no sense. I checked Tom's Guide and CNET and they said they had the app, but when you click the links, you go to a page that says "No longer......blah, blah, blah". Can't remember the exact wording. Suffice it to say, all links on the net that I have found all go to this page that no longer exists. I was thinking about contacting the author of the app and asking him directly. I may still do that.

Long-time user of NoLED, but can't reinstall it on Xperia Z3 after a full system update. Tried V 6.0.18, 19 & 20, none will install.
LED Blinker looks good:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledblinker.pro
Has just about all the customizations of NoLED, plus a few more.
After NoLed stopped working on mine, I tried led blinker.pro and have really appreciated it's useability. I think that it's the best/only substitute. The developer is active, timely with updates and is quick to respond to messages. Give it a try.
