Proof of NO GOD!!!... what would it take?

but i do have doubts

a friend just asked me...
what would it take to prove beyond a doubt.. that there is NO God.

i cant think of a way....

Proving the absence of unicorns in my house is pretty impossible....

They could be hiding when i walk into the room
I mean.. I could put in cctv... but unicorns might be undetectable by cameras


So.. I can't think of a single way i can prove there are no unicorns in my house...

Nope sorry I would understand their own privacy too, even if there was a higher being somesort, i would simply refuse it too, because I am a down to earth man, more of a unconsciousness thinker outside of the box.

Proving that something--anything--doesn't exist is much more difficult than proving it does. I really have no idea how to conclusively prove God doesn't exist.

Proving that something--anything--doesn't exist is much more difficult than proving it does. I really have no idea how to conclusively prove God doesn't exist.

In software terms - You can never prove the absence of bugs, only their presence.
Therefore your software quality is only as good as your test cases. But I digress..

But back to God - the default state for me is non-existence. It's up to the believers to prove it to me, using actual evidence. Otherwise God's existence is not fact, it's a pure belief.
In the absence of evidence, then people come up with their own theories/beliefs to explain how things work.

What would it take? Well for example, proof that it was possible to spontaneously turn water into wine, as described in some historical textbook.

Google DOES exist, for God sake.

You just have to believe the information it deems to give us mere mortals.

Believing millions of individual messages are sent invisibly and immaterially "over the air" concurrently is stretching it a fair bit for me personally, but I should have "faith" I guess.

Am I in the right thread? Do people believe Google doesn't exist? I lost my reading glasses.

Let me give you a hand on how one can prove God exist.
You have a cancer riddled relative and the doctor say they have a few months to live and all of a sudden they make a miraculous recovery and become cancer free and the doctors cannot explain the reason why that person lived. Is it chance that person beat that cancer or was it God because in the doctor's eyes that relative was dead but they hadn't fully closed there eyes yet. Someone been in a head-on collision in a car accident everybody died but the 6 month old baby... was that chance or was that God they saved that child's live. The Sun the air the water the blue sky, All those elements are not there by chance that's Gods creations. So there shouldn't be no question, is there proof because that should be proof enough right there. And let's not forget you wake up on the right side of the dirt every morning because if there were no God you may succumb to death in your sleep and they say it was natural causes or it could be that God has turned his back on them because they were a non-believer.

Doubt isn't blasphemy.

Blasphemy was when US televangelist Oral Roberts told his followers that God hds told him that if he didn't reach the target of his latest fundraising campaign he would be "called home". Accusing God of demanding money with menaces, that was blasphemy.
