@ashrob when u downloaded the rom did you extract the file inside? or did you just copy and paste it into the sd card without extracting?
@Roze thanks, i have no intrest in owning my own pokedex lol just playing the game, but how do i create barcodes??
@ashrob sorry for the late reply ive.been busy at work, i have just been through everything pn the list it all works, i think the problame is with the extracting, instead of extracrting from the file to the phones sd, exctract it from the folder to your desktop then copy it in, also are you sure what you are downloadong from dope roms is a game boy advance game?
If you can see the file but the icon is just white it soesnt matter its just because u have no file on ur pc that will play that rom but u dont need one
@ashrob ok, download winrar from google, open the rom file with winrar and exttact to desktop, the new file that you have your computer wont reconise juat paste it into your sd card
Just to be clear, I am talking about browsing through the Gameboid app on my phone to the place on my phone's sd card where I keep the files to play the games on my phone. I have extracted the zipped file on my pc and then put it on my phone's sd card and I can't see the file on my phone when I browse to it through Gameboid. I can see zipped files on my phone when I browse to them through Gameboid, but not unzipped ones.
If gamebopid is the same as genesoid (same dev) then it should handle the zips anyway. Have you tried opening the zip with gameboid?
I have, it just gives a file error. I've used mame emulators on my pc and Xbox and have also used the snes emulator on my G1 and never had any troubles with them. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but I could be missing something competely obvious, it wouldn't be the first time!
Anyone using the gameboid or snesoid emulators, a great companion app is 'rom buddy' it automatically lists and installs thousands of roms from various rom sources compatible with these emulators.
saves a lot of time and effort finding ones that work.
