Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Funny you'd post that. Literally just cam in from his first hour. He has to do 50 with an adult .
made him go on the "busy street" and take ME to Mcdonald's though I paid again
Next time, grab me some fries, would you? I just found out that I can eat them again--haven't since 1988--because they're vegan now! :D They used to be seasoned with beef fat.

So, I had my car at the dealership to do some warranty repairs. They called me and said I needed sparkplugs (they were pretty corroded and cylinder four was misfiring) and they could install them for me for $220-something... I cut them off and said I'd take care of it.

I ordered a set of plugs from Amazon, along with a 5" long socket, dielectric, and anti-sieze for about $53 total. Picked up my car, and as soon as I had time, I went to replace my plugs.

Turns out, the misfire wasn't because of a corroded sparkplug, but because of a weak connection between the coilpack and the spring. I ended up paying $162 for a replacement coilpack, and I'm more than a little angry with the dealership because of it.

What really grinds my gears, is children screaming inside a glass house, honestly I am willingly to give them some peanut butter without milk and see how they like it, and also give them a bad place to sit down and talk their problems over. Yet it is so hard to know what the living nightmares they are really screaming about. I get it is a "play pen" and have to be "polite" but I am going to get my chains aws and knive them down, but I would not cross that line either. I used to work at a fast food joint too. So my tinnus (Ringing in my ear) has been so mangifiable.

This. This makes me crazy. Crazy! Oh, I took it at the middle school, had to pick my niece up so there's that added bonus! UGH
Had a similiar program entitled 4-H, where I just did corn bread, and will support them until the days are enough said anyways :) It can be so crazy around the kitchen and profit. But for what though?

Okay, here's my crusade of the week...

BTW I filed the complaint with the Sheriff's Office this morning. The deputy stated that in ten years on the force he'd never seen this. He filed the report and said he'd visit the company personally. Meanwhile, I'm hoping my neighbor, who has 4K security cameras, can find the video of employees tossing these things out. That would be the evidence required to connect the littering to that company. And I posted the Corporate HQ phone number with the hope that people will burn up their phone lines with complaints. I want this to either cost them so much, or scare them so badly, that those predatory sharks NEVER pull this stunt again.

Good for you!

What I don't understand is, what was their point? How does throwing [presumed] literature on the ground help their business?

What is Cash Express? I'm guessing one of those ruthless payday loan places, or something similar. :(

This whole college admissions scandal really pisses me off. :(

If these celebrities wanted their kids to go to elite universities, they should've brought them up valuing education, and making good grades.

My family values education--and went to USC, Stanford, and UCLA the old-fashioned way, by EARNING it with grades/academic achievement. Shame on those who chose a dirty route...

Cheap advertising.
Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but if I saw what appeared to be trash...on the ground...it would go in the trash. So much for cheap advertising!
Littering is a disgrace. They should pay for it.
I hope they're held accountable. This tree-hugger strongly dislikes those who pollute our environment. :(

This has me highly pissed.

In just ≈10 weeks, 22 horses have died at Santa Anita Racetrack. It's been closed indefinitely for racing since last week, after #21 died; it was deemed safe and reopened for training Monday...and today #22 died.

Santa Anita is world-famous, which has put these tragedies, and my city, in the spotlight. I'm outraged both as an animal rights advocate and an Arcadia homeowner.

I hope they figure out the problem soon--before any more horses die--and fix it. :maddroid:

One of my old highschool friends getting fluids in his lungs, and having kidney failure, too much drinking also cut back on the red bull and soda for pete's sake, also drink a lot of water the fluids will clear up after a huge hospital visit with them.

Why are the pretty ladies taken and I am stuck in friendzone with them?

Dealer service pisses me off - having worked on the design side of things. Hearing the issues people have with repairs only to know the dealer didn't even try to diagnose it right. Seeing the picture and noticing the Scrivet I assume you have a GM product. I think toyota uses them too. And your one plug looks like it sees water often. which is bad, or troubling.

Good luck on the fix - take your pics back to the dealer and demand a refund - or threaten to go to the local news with your findings. (seriously I hate dealers)
