Pubg lag on s10 plus

The key word might be "Exynos". Samsung's processors particularly lag behind the Qualcomm ones in the GPU department. But because they are obviously more profitable for Samsung that's what most of the world gets (North America gets Qualcomm models because that's cheaper for them than licensing Qualcomm's CDMA patents, but as virtually nobody else uses CDMA the rest of us get Exynos).

I do not have one myself to say whether it's normal (I also don't play that game anyway), but I've seen Anandtech's reviews and some side-by-side comparisons so am quite certain that the Exynos graphics performance does not compare to the S855 model.

I've briefly run PUBG on a Galaxy S7 Exynos variant, and it seemed to be smooth, no apparent lag problem at all.

Could be it's a specific to Galaxy S10 Exynos issue that Tencent Games needs to fix, possibly with an update. The S10 has only been out a few weeks. Tencent may not have tested it yet with their game? Maybe they're already working on a fix? Of course they're a Chinese developer and publisher, and all S10s in China are Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Pubg seems to lag on my exynos Samsung s10 plus. It drops a lot of frames and is very laggy. My previous OnePlus 5 used to run the game like a champ. This one seems to suffer . Anyone with a similar issue ? Please let me know any fixes

Same problem here...but i have done some tricks and after that pubg runs like butter smooth..
1.uninstall previous pubg and install new one..dnt launch it
2.then turn off dolby atmos feature from phone settings..(gaming and music both)
3.change display settings to 720p resolution from phone setting..
4.now lauch the game...complete the remaining update..
5.then select graphics smooth,fps-ultra,turn off auto adjust grahics and select high sensitivity in pubg game settings
6..now restart the game

It will work like charm....

Seems to be multiple reports of same problem, PUBG on Exynos variant S10. I've seen it running just fine on other Exynos Samsungs. And other games are apparently OK on this phone. I think it's definitely a problem that Tencent needs to fix. Has anyone reported it to them yet? Contact details are in the Play Store.

Most of the world has Exynos Samsungs, and it's only China, US and Japan that has Qualcomm, because of CDMA networks.

The problem seems to be limited PUBG on Exynos variant S10, no other games and no other phones affected apparently. No other device uses this particular Exynos chipset, so far. Except maybe the forthcoming Note10 in August or September.

Any fix would definitely need to come from Tencent Games in China, the developer of PUBG on mobile.
