Then again, a programmer I am not.

On an unrelated note, I ordered $900 worth of computer parts and forgot to order a case to put it all in... what a nincompoop.

My son had better appreciate this machine once it's built.

Me too.
I mean aside from the debate over whether we actually need another programming language for Android, if you're a developer you really want the widest possible skillset. And Java has a long track record of uses, not just in Java, but it's the de-facto standard for open source web development.
Learning Java for Android makes much more sense than learning Kotlin.

My bet's on the Night King for the Iron Throne. He's got a zombie ice/fire breathing dragon and a legion of undead. Reinforcements should be easy with that resurrection skill.

It's a little cloudy to get a good visual, but I think there are F-18's circling my house prepping to do the Boston Marathon flyover.

I just checked the silhouette and now think they were F-15's. They are gone now, I'm guessing they were doing a flyover for the mens elite class starting time.

Yeah. Still pretty cool though. The "I'm Batman" plane flying over Fenway Park was my all time favorite flyover. And I was in the USAF. Seen some stuff in Florida.

I felt like I was the only one who thought this way considering all over the internet folks are saying new devs should go with kotlin and old devs should transition. Devs that I've followed for a long time have also transitioned. It's nice to know that there's at least one like-minded person. Thank You.

I understand that the spire has now collapsed. It seems it will be a total loss.

Yes, my daughter and I were talking when it fell. It reminded both of us of the last time we were talking, in different states, as a building burned...and we saw the second plane hit. This does not appear to be terrorism, like that was, but just some unfortunate, awful accident.

My daughter has visited Notre Dame several times, and tells me it was just exquisite. And 900+ years old!

I'm pretty sure you'd have to hire someone proficient in Photoshop as topiaries do not have tongues.

You are right, I have never been to Disneyland, but I've been to Disney World a bunch of times. The hedges are neatly trimmed, but the fancy stuff is fake.
