I went to the best buy trade in website BestBuy.com Trade-in Center - Powered by Dealtree.com and put in a Sprint Palm Pre that has "signs of wear" and it offered me a $70 check or a $107 gift card .... So if you have a pre and don't want to go through selling it on eBay, go through this and use the $107 gift card to buy the Evo

Depends on if you're getting cash or gift card.. with cash I was to get like $71 gift card was $107 ...

unfortunately I already pre-ordered at radio shack

When I calculated it said $67 for a check and $101 For the gift card, which will illediatly go toward the Evo anyway.
CL is saturated with Pres. I wouldn't get much more than that.

Makes sense that they would give either $70 or $107 in gift cards since Best Buy would charge you $107 for something that would cost $70 online anyway.

My pre is missing the USB door, the volume button, and there is a hairline crack in the back of the LCD panel at the top. And you really have to mash the power button for it to work. lol

I may send it in after I get the evo and just see what they will give me. If they laugh at me, oh well, its junk anyway.

You should have two options so make sure you use the In-store option.

Yeah but I don't have the receipt? The In-Store option says that its for things purchased from BB. I got my phone from Sprint.

I mean, I could just mail my Pre to them after I get the EVO and do the check, but then I'm leaving $30+ on the table.
