How do I stop music docking?

I had hoped I'd left this problem behind when I switched from my iPhone. How do I keep my music volume from fading out when I get a calendar notification?

I have Tasker and tried to make that work, but it doesn't seem to control Do Not Disturb.

That is called "music docking".. Which basically means it lowers the volume so you can hear a notification well enough to recognize it.

I think Magisk might have a module.
Perhaps look into notifications menu for what ever app is responsible.
