Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Okay so about two years ago a uncle passed away.
My wife and I were assigned the task of helping the aunt sort through items to be donated or destroyed. I got task with going through boxes in his office. In one box I found close to 20 cell phones, mostly flip and brick phones.
We tried and fail to get a single one power on. They end up becoming play phones for the kids, over time one by one they have disappeared.
So the other day I was cleaning and came across two of them. Since my daughter has multiple tablets and a cellphone plus her mom's phone , I decided it was time to get rid of the old ones.
So I go to Walmart where they have one those phone recycle things. I take a iPhone 4 SE and a kryrocea brick phone:rolleyes: I am thinking perhaps maybe the iPhone will fetch $10_$20
The other maybe $3 in reality I am just looking to recycle. The kryrocea had a value of $0:D but the iPhone wouldn't even registered:(

I recycle the kryrocea and trashed the iPhone can't believe the kryrocea had no cash value:thinking:

I also work night shift and when I have a second job, may add swing shift to the grind. Makes for a mixed up sleep wake cycle.
I too have a day occupation, I do have a few bands to manage but they are mostly independent, I as well write, do my art et all. But I like my eating same as clockwork though and also writings too.

Last year my favorite grocery store close down:mad::(. We had been going to this store for over ten years. A local chain store took over the location. I decided to go visit the replacement store, I was only in the store for five minutes and I wanted to burn the place to the ground:maddroid:
Oh, crap! That sucks. :(

What about the new store don't you like?

Just been watching George Clark's old house new home. Basically about renovating old houses to become modern living spaces.

This couple had a budget of £60,000 for the reno, by the time they had finished it cost a whopping £160,000!!!! What the holy hell, how do you go £100,000 over budget and sit there and laugh with happiness?? I'd never sleep again, mortgage plus £160k on top....:oops::oops::oops:

If there was a faint emoji I'd use it right now. :D
