so besides cases and screen protectors, are you gonna buy anything specific for your new note 10/10+?

i'm currently looking for a care mount. my thing is that i do not want a magnetic car mount as i would then need a mag strip on my case. i'm getting a clear case to show off the aurora glow color of my phone. and by adding a mag strip will just cover it up.

so i guess i'm looking for a cradle type car mount. i like the iottie, but i found that my note 8 could not get wirelessly charged because of the foot on the cradle made the phone sit too high and would not hit that sweet spot for charging. i had to saw the foot off to get it right. the suction finally failed so now i need to look for one that works for the note 10+. there is only one that i found on amazon that actually says it is compatible with the note10+ but it does not do wireless charging and it is magnetic.

with my samsung credit i might buy me some samsung buds......not sure yet. what are you gonna get for your phone?

    found this one:

I'm in the UK, we don't get the credit. If we get anything it's a direct discount on the handset (up to £350 GBP plus an extra £100 on top in store).

    I purchased these outright.
well that sucks. i'm only getting it cuz it is basically free for me. i think that there are cheaper buds that work just as good. let us know how you like it when you get it in.

so this car mount is not bad. it came in yesterday.....so installed it in my car today and took it for a test run using my note 8. i like the motion sensor that makes the cradle open when you want to put the phone in. however, the wireless charge is not that great. i was using google maps and using bluetooth to play music through my car stereo and even though it was charging, i saw the battery percentage go down. however, i put my fast charging cable in, it shut off wireless charge and i was able to get my phone charged while in the car mount.

for me this is unacceptable. i should not have to using a charging cable while in the mount. so now there are two cables needed. one for the wireless charging unit and the other for the phone. the mount still needs power so that the motion sensor will open and close........so it looks very clutter and not nice and neat like i wanted it to be.

i hope they either make an official samsung car mount or at least a third party will make one specific to the note 10+
.........so back to amazon it goes......and the search goes on.

    Interesting.

I've had issues in the past with phones using power quicker than they can charge (I'm looking at you S5) when used as a SatNav.

I've not had that issue with the iOttie and my S7 Edge, so I'll test the 10+ tonight.

    I quite like them.

They're reasonably comfortable. Sound quality is good (I'm no audiophile and have nothing to compare with, but I'm happy with them).

The latency when watching videos is a pain though.

I'm sure years ago, plasma TVs had a latency rating or some software to get the picture and sound to align.

It can't be too difficult to write software that allows for the latency and lines everything up!?

Some software does. I usually use VLC to play videos and it's under Track Sync.

Picking up the Galaxy Buds for sure. My wife and I both pre-ordered, so we are both going to get the "Lifestyle & Entertainment" kit with our $150 USD credit. Kit is $220 and comes with Galaxy Buds and the Gear Sport watch. Kids (ages 11 and 12) have been wanting smart watches, so we're going to save them for Christmas gifts and they are only going to cost us $70 USD each :) Pretty stoked about the Buds, I've read a lot of good reviews on them. The best case I've seen so far is this one. Looks pretty rugged, not too bulky, and has that clear back to show off this phone in all its beauty. I haven't bought it yet, but Flossy Carter reviewed it briefly in one of his Note 10+ case videos and spoke pretty highly of it. That's all that's on my radar right now.

So I can confirm my iOttie (this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00UXS7958/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1) works.

The Note 10+ started charging the moment it was inserted.

Running in high performance mode, with my buds connected, and Google maps navigating me home, it even gained 2% on the 10 minute drive!

    (Sent from my new 512GB Note 10 + 5G )

Buds using promo code from samsung, and an adapter for wired headphones that still boom, and a case.

I have a query about the unknown sound level abilities of the galaxy buds, as I never had them before and soon to arrive.
Someone with them please at least say the volume level is superior to the stock akg wired in the Note 10 plus box?

I already have therm now .
