Not having had a Note before, I havent used handwriting recognition before.

My SIII had it, but without a stylus it wasn't practical.

I've just found out how to turn it on, and have written this entire reply using it.

It's taking some getting used to, but it's actually quite accurate. It does require some practice though.

It seems to me as if Black Friday at Best Buy is the ticket to wait for a good price for a phone. But what do I know? I have flirted with going over to iPhone, but I resent iOS so much so, because it limits me much more than does Android, that I don't think I'll ever get myself to do that.

If you do switch to the other side......I think you should change your avatar to Darth Vader

Will it work over a larger distance. Like measuring the distance from one wall to another in your house? That would be very handy for me. It wouldn't even have to be exact on accuracy for my application. I often need to get a rough idea of a length as well as a rough idea of square footage of a room. It is cool tech! Thanks for posting.

and here it is......you can measure pretty much anything. you just set the points and it will measure between the two points.

here's that video of it (its not much, but you get the idea):

Okay so last night I got an idea so I wanted to see if I can charge my Nexus 6P using USB-C to USB-C cable and my experiement has a solution!

The Note 10/10+ has the ability to charge other devices supporting witlreless charging while the other device is powered and works great but can the USB-C port charge another USB-C device that doesn't have wireless charging capabilities ?

Well here is your answer in theory yes in can charge your non wireless device, however in test it will NOT charge the other device if the other device is powered on, this is expected since both devices. Outputs power at the same time their.is.just a constant loop so both devices will not receive any power unless the device that is going to receive power is powered off, in my test while both devices are powered they do not affect each other and no damages were noticed during this test.

So in a theoretical way of speaking it is possible to wireless charge one device and charge another device using the wired method as long as the device receiving the power is off and not on.

Yes this does drain the host battery faster but it is useful
