Help A couple basic Samsung Moment questions

1. Don't know the size... but I just go on to Flickr from my phones browser, Save a huge photo then make that my wallpaper....the bigger the better, it compresses down and brings out awesome details.

2. I don't believe so, but no sure.

The resolution for standard wallpapers would be 640x480.

Open Home turned the 'crop' feature of my wallpapering to portrait from landscape and I can't figure out how to put it back. Now every screen has the same background, whereas it used to slide the background a little for each screen. I miss that

3. Is there a "my account" page like there used to be in SPCS vision? In my Centro I could go to the "my account" page and see bills / payments, minutes used, etc etc. Would like such a page on the Moment.

4. Anyone able to set up hotmail to work with email? I keep getting username / pw errors even though I've tried 5-6 times with the correct info.

Just keeping typing the name or email of the persons you wish to add. There isnot specifically an "add to" for emails.


You would have to go to Sprint's site through the browser and bookmark the page to login to your account. No standard My account app or bookmark. You can also place a shortcut to that bookmark on any of your home screens by holding down on the screen adn selecting the appropriate bookmark under shortcuts.

I set up hotmail and it works fine. Just used the pop mail and let it set up for me. I had more issues trying to set up my InsightBB email.

I use my hotmail with no problems. Two different accounts actually: one is a "live.com" and one is "hotmail.com".

Are you using IMAP or POP3?

I am using POP mail, server name is mail.insightbb.com. I tried both full email address as user name and just part that comes before the @insightbb.com. Every time I get an error saying it "cannot connect to server. (554 mail.insightbb.com).

I got this to work, follow the instructions on this page:

the main part is down at the bottom. It gives you the ports for incoming and outgoing mail servers.

I just got the moment but it will not connect with my pc via usb cable. just charges the phone. I have unchecked the debugging and downloaded the pc studio but still nothing. can any one help?
There is no usb notification at the top of the phone.

I am on sprint.

What version of Windows are you using? And second, do you have the correct Samsung drivers installed?
