Can you root Android Lg tribute 2016 HD LgLS676

so the best source for all thongs root is over at xda developers forum

if you see that your phone has a section in theo forum then that is a good start. if you look to see if there is a root subsection...then that is even better. if the subsection is active......then you are good to go. however, if there is not much activity or there is no root subforum then that usually means there is no dev community.

just remember no devs=no fun

so at xda....this is all that there is for your phone:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lg-tribute-HD

as you can see there is no root subforum.

and if you see threads like this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/lg-x-style-lg-tribute-hd-rooted-boost-t3485956

then there is no root and looks like none of the devs have picked this phone to work on at the moment. i highly doubt that there ever will be a way to root the phone.

now you might find claims of rooting your specific device, just be very careful. some of those sights can be shady and you might even brick the phone.

going forward i would do some research first and look to phones that are easily rootable.....for example the pixel phones are very easy to root.

Its cool bro, I like helping others if I can. im not the know it all of root. My experience is with Samsungs and I use Odin on pc to flash Cusume recovery (TWRP), however LGs use another method (I think it involves ADB).
I will say that having an unlocked bootloader make it easier to gain root . Go to anout phone in settings and look for build # and tap it 5 to 7 times, then see if a popup (toast message) says developer options... if so , you will have a new setting within the settings called develop options. If that be the case you most likely have an unlocked bootloader but XDA is the best place to look for specifics for you phone. For instence, I search "XDA sprint note 4"
