I've only seen Jurassic World dubbed in Mandarin, when it was on CCTV 6, and wasn't paying too much attention to it. And Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was just a stupid CGI filled mess, never want to see that again. I presume that no more "Jurassic" sequels are planned or in the making.

The last 3 Star Wars movies are all a blur to me.

I remember seeing the original star wars in the theater, actually I remember seeing it a lot, over and over, after the third, or fourth time maybe the hundred billionth time, I realized that there was a lot of back story that took place before star wars new hope, the nagging question was always about Vader! Okay here you have a guy who destroyed a planet killing billions but he was talk in past tense of being this proud and heroic Jedi knight, what happened?
We had to wait for 16 or 20 years for the answer which left me scratching my head.

On that day in 1977 when I saw Star Wars--and that -was- its name then--I had no idea that one day I'd have two grandchildren who love it as much as I do. It's one of those rare movies that crosses generations effortlessly.

The second trilogy, Episodes 1, 2, & 3. Those are not really a blur for me, and I can always remember the main characters in them and the main story lines. A couple of weeks ago I watched Episode 1: The Phantom Menace again, while on a train, and actually enjoyed it.

Did you ever see Contact(1997)? With Jody Foster and John Hurt, based on the Carl Sagan novel. That had a few references to UNIX as well, like "UNIX Party" stickers on some of the monitors. Although the computers portrayed in these movies, I think was possibly more Hollywood OS* than actual real UNIX.

Although in Jurassic Park apparently it was real UNIX.

Something that drove me crazy in the late-'80s/early-'90s: office settings in TV shows. They'd clearly be using Wyse terminals, which I was very familiar with--even had one in my office at home, connected by modem, on a dedicated phone line, to the SCO Xenix server in my office at work. And guess what? Not a cable in sight! These were dumb terminals, but not an RS232 cable to be seen hanging from the ports on their backs. Same with the [dot-matrix] printers that were often shown humming along, printing, next to a dumb terminal, magically, with no cabling! I'd literally shout at the TV, 'where the [blank] are the [blanking] cables?!'

I know there's one factual inaccuracy in Contact, in that real radio astronomers do not sit with headphones on listening to static for hours on end.

Something I noticed in many Columbia Pictures movies from late 90s to about 2010, blatant product placement. Like every PC and laptop was a Sony, with VAIO clearly visible, but all running Hollywood OS though.
