ive seen some cases that go around the entire phone that look more like screen protectors. they may not be as relaiable as a hard or silicon case, but a phone this size i really want to keep it naked-like...any suggestions on some companies i should keep an eye on til june 4?

Thanks

I know zagg makes one. A lot of people say they don't like the way zagg feels, but I like the texture. I'm sure some of the other companies make them but I don't know which ones.

edit: you can order the zagg now, my screen protector is already at my apartment.

Thanks, my friend had something on his pre that wa called ghost...something...but it wasnt even noticeable and he claimed it had been droppped a few times without damage...i think with a phone this big, this is the way to go...not to mention how much a new one would cost

Probably Ghost Armor. I believe Phantom Skins makes one as well.

I've bought many cellphone cases, the best one is the thinnest one, it doesn't look like what you said, likes a screen protector.

i was looking at phatom kinz...24.99 for 2 body kits...im leaning towards this direction. you think this would protect it from light drops or misshandles? im really trying to avoid anything to make this phone bigger

Phantom Skinz, Invisible Shields, etc. do not protect against things like impact. They may save the phone from looking dropped/scuffed but they will not dissipate any of the impact force. I've taken my chances for the most part up to this point because I like the naked gadget look. I use Invisible Shield by Zagg because they come with a lifetime warranty, plus I like the texture they give the phone because it adds a "grippiness". They are great for protecting from scratches and the like. I used them on every generation of iPhone and was able to carry my phone in my pocket with my keys, etc and never had a problem. This was important also because then I was able to sell my used devices more easily since they were basically in like new condition. I'm considering something like an Otterbox for my Evo (once they are released) though just because it's such a massive screen, but I hate taking away the sexiness of the device. I'm sure the industrial designers cringe every time they see a huge case attached to their gadgets. :D

I have bought 2 cases from Monster Accessory ebay store for my Blackberrys. They are really good quality. I got the carbon-fiber Body gloves. They fit neatly over your phone and it's keys, with accessability to all the side buttons and ports on the phone. I've actually dropped my phone and even thrown it at the wall while the case was on, and it holds up really well.
