What's your budget?

And do you prefer in-ear, on-ear or over-ear? Is noise cancelling a requirement? Do you prefer particular musical styles, or know what sort of sound profile you like (some people like to hear every vibration of a string, some just want a thumping bass)?

If you can tell us what sort of thing you are looking for people will be able to make more relevant suggestions.

(I should add that I don't have BT headphones, and there are very few type-C available and none that match my preferences, so I can't advise on these specific things through personal experience. But telling us what you care about will help somebody else provide some hopefully relevant suggestions).

Actually I've not tested the Bose 700s yet, but the Sony 1000MX has better noise cancelling than the Bose QC35: both more effective and more natural, less of the "dead" feeling when it's on but you aren't playing anything.

Pure sound quality, it depends on your budget. There are loads of wired sets that will beat any of these comprehensively on sound quality, but that wasn't the OP's requirement (and it depends on the quality of your inputs as well).
