Help How can I Fix Water Damaged Phone?

You should also turn the phone off immediately and don't turn it on again until it's had at least a day in the bag.

And if it does come back to life, back up any important data immediately - it's quite possible that any recovery will only be partial or temporary. You may be lucky, but best not to rely on luck.

get a ziplock bag and fill it with rice. give it a good 24hrs with the phone in the bag and cross your fingers that it worked. other then that there is not much you can do on your end.
A friend of mine tried this and It worked fine.it was just a rain-wet. but, your device has completely sunk in water. So, the result may vary..however, it's a great strategy as rice grain can absorb a considerable amount of moisture

I tried the rice thing once, The phone did power on, but the screen was a random mess of multi-colored lines.

That's not a fault of the rice. I would guess that any method to dry it out would have yielded the same result. The damage comes from the liquid.

@Adnan fiaz you didn't mention what type of phone you have, but if it's an older or budget model, I would use the uncooked rice method, but I would go further that what's been suggested. I would keep in in the bag of rice for 72 hours at least and change the rice after 24 hours and again after 48. Under NO circumstances try to power on or charge the phone until 72 hours has passed, or you could cause more damage.

If after all that the phone still won't power on, then you have to ask yourself how far you are willing to go to recover your data with the understanding that it might, in the end, not be possible.

If you drop your phone in the water, turn it off as soon as possible. Remover the battery and SIM card. Put it on a dry towel so that the water does not seep into the inner circuitry of the phone. Remove the accessories on your phone. I haven’t tried this technique, but you can put your phone in a bowl of uncooked rice. The rice with soak the water. Place it in the rice for about 2 days or more. You don’t want any water left behind.

Make sure that the phone is completely dried, otherwise be prepared to buy a new phone. If you think the phone is dried, place the battery and the SIM card back, and turn it on. Hopefully, it’ll work!

sory i not mention what type of phone but i try
Firstly put your phone in the bag of rice grain. Rice grain will absorb all the moisture from your phone. But make sure you keep your phone there for hours or maybe a day. Then dry your phone using a hairdryer. If your phone still doesn't work then you have to contact the service center. They can replace the damaged hardware or else buy a new one!

Regards,
Lewis
Ok i will try
