Help Downloaded images named oddly, only when using the app

I've only recently started using Pinterest, at first just via browser, then I installed its app.

When I download photos using a browser, they're named something logical, like:

But downloading the exact same photo, using the exact same method [selecting 'Download image' from its 3-dot menu], with the app, its names are seemingly random characters, like:

Is there some way around this, some way to get meaningful file names? I mean besides dumping the app?!

I used to have one for a bit, kind of got off it, one of my ex friends sort of stalking me on that. So that.. I think I downloaded a few of my old app throughout the net though. I kind of remember downloading the image on it first. Ehh... I kind of forgot.

You could always rename the photos after you download them.

Right, but the information about the photo is on its page. I like to download tons of photos in rapid succession--which works fine as far as naming goes if I'm using a browser, but not the app.

I'd have to download one pic, go to another app to rename it, keeping its info fresh in my head, then go back and download another, leave to rename it as above...rinse and repeat 500 times. I'm too old and lazy for all that!

And...how exactly would that solve the problem?

Try getting on with FOSS or Lightning browser and long pressing the image.

A menu pops up with options.
One or both browsers might download the image info the way you like.

I prefer Lightning, but FOSS gives you the option to rename right before you download.

Both are on F-Droid.
