Help Need an instruction to fix my hard bricked samsung galaxy s(SC-02B)

All of this happen because I want to upgrade it into Android 4.4 (Kitkat).
1.I successfully downgraded into stock rom/firmware (froyo) by Odin.
2.I upgraded into custom rom/firmware (gingerbread) by samsung kies.
3.I root a wrong root, it's for I9000 by Odin,caused it become boot stuck,but able to fix it by wiping caches & other etc.
4.I root a correct root for SC-02B,but don't know why it make my phone soft bricked,I tried wiping caches & other etc,it doesn't work.
5.So I decided to downgraded it into stock rom/firmware,but it make more worst, it re-partitioned finished but the PIT files,it doesn't even begin to flashing it stuck for 10 mins.
6.I close Odin,remove the battery,& unpluged the usb.That what happen to my phone,it can only charge to a wall charger.A few weeks later I bought a very cheap JIG ordered from internet,it gave nothing but a heat to my phone, no download mode.So please anyone whoever encounter with this situation,please give a guide or instructions to fix my phone thank you.

the og galaxy phone? man i think it is time to move on. i think the only thing that phone is good for now is calling and texting.

what do you mean by "correct root"? are you following a guide from somewhere? where are you getting the files needed to root?

Custom rom? Was that not the correct firmware?

You may try turning kies off when ising Odin. Im not sure how it work on that OS but maybe a DM-verity or DRK fail.

Well to start with, Kies is only going to be provide you with stock ROMs from Samsung, so if you did flash a custom ROM, you obtained it from a different source. Again, it was not via Kies. Both Kies and its successor Smart Switch are Samsung utilities that deal with stock firmware only.

You also have to stop trying to use ROMs for different models. They are not interchangeable, you cannot mix-and-match ROMs for different models. This applies to stock Samsung ROMs and custom ROMs. Again, they are model specific.

Also, do not experiment with the various options in the Odin utility unless you are fully aware of the resulting actions. -- i.e. leave the re-partition option unchecked unless you have a valid (stress 'valid') PIT file specifically matching your model.

At this point, you might have hard-bricked your phone to the point where even a jig cannot restore it. But in the event it's just soft-bricked, go here and download a verified, stock Samsung ROM for your model:

You'll need to sign up for an account given the vintage of this particular model. Note this does install a stock ROM, with will also install a stock Recovery so your phone will no longer be rooted. If you can get your phone working again, then you can worry about rooting it. But given what's been done to it this is a big 'if'. In the download page of the site above there are instructions for Odin on the flashing process. Again, don't experiment. Follow the directions as stated.

Just to repeat:

Odds are it is given there are so many things done to it that shouldn't have -- flashing incorrect ROMs, applying rooting methods for other models, etc.

you can do the free version.....the only thing is you just can't do the fast download so it may take a little bit longer to download.

ROMs for older devices require an account for downloads. They stopped the restricted bandwidth downloads a while back.

Thanks for the info, I was unaware that Samsmobile stopped the restricted bandwidth free firmware download option. Its been a while since I've downloaded from that site. It would usually take me three attempts to get a matching Md5. No complaints, after all it was free.
I'd also like to conker with your XDA recommendation. If I ever had a Md5 mismatched it was do to the validity of the download and not the firmware itself.

Given what you have done previously to your phone you will need to take into account the state your phone is in -- chiefly, you have to do the opposite of the recommended instructions on not enabling the re-partition option. Since you apparently flashed a PIT file for another model you do have to attempt to restore the correct PIT.
Also, the article refers to using the most current version of the Odin utility. Try it see if it works out for you but Odin has had backwards compatibility issues with older hardware so you might find it better to use an older version that is fully compatible with a Galaxy S Gingerbread. You might want to just use Odin 1.85 instead. You can download it from here:

In order to flash your firmware in will be necessary for both your pc and Odin to recognize your device. To complete the process you need to put you Samsung into download mode. If your phone is unable to go into download mode then perhaps you'll need to purchase a jig.

To my knowledge you'll need to put you phone into download mode in order to flash the firmware. The term "hard bricking" to me means beyond repair. It's like turning a device into nothing more expensive paper weight. If you're lucky, another member has the solution to your issue. Best of luck

I did try combination keys with odin,I click start for the first time without re-partition.Odin show not responding & when it become responding it 0 success/0 Fail so anyone know what does its mean?
