Trying to gauge how many EVO's have been sold?

I pre-ordered my EVO at Radio Shack on Saturday. When the guy was ringing it up the manager came over and asked what the pin# was on the reciept and I asked him "whats that" he said "it's how many EVO's have been sold nationwide".
After he walked off antoher guy came to ring up someone else and was excited to see what the pin# was as well.

So what I would like to do is establish a timeline from the start of the official preorder to now.
Now the pin# is posted at the top of your receipt, mine is:
5/22
127,851

Now keep in mind this is not just RS this is nationwide, you may also see something similar on your BB receipt so post that up as well.

If anyone knows someone that works at a Radio Shack, call them up and ask them if what I stated is true.

Maybe you asked the wrong question, because what you typed sounds to me like no one has preordered from the to RS's that you called.

I would assume that it is all tied in with sprint.
