The phone is a LG Aristo 4 +, model LM-X320MA. Android version 9. It has a lot of new bells and whistles.

Is this phone rootable? If so what app will work with it? I have rooted a few phones and tables in the past. I know Windows very well and I am learning Android. I am a hands on type of learner. I have a ZTE Android tablet to experiment on. If that get's messed up, no great lose.

as far as i can tell no...there is no root available yet. a lot of lg phones from what i can see are hard to root mainly because some of the phone's bootloaders are locked.

always do your research first on xda. xda is a developers forum. i only root a phone if there is a community to support the phone.no devs=no fun. if there is a way to root but there is no developers to support the phone, then you do not get the benefit of trying custom roms and kernels. i also will not root a device if there is no custom recovery which is what your phone has....no custom recovery. recovery is the most important tool you will need if you are rooted. if you had a recovery you can make nandroid backups. when you have a backup, you can then start messing around by changing or deleting system apps. if you delete something or something goes wrong, you have a nandroid backup to fall back on. not having a backup and screwing with the os could brick the phone.
