Wifi Calling on unlocked Galaxy S20

I bought an unlocked Galaxy S20 and put it on the Good2Go Mobile n/w (uses AT&T’s n/w). Apparently I’m unable to use wifi calling on G2G’s n/w because of AT&T restrictions.

Question: what if I bought an AT&T locked phone and then unlocked it – would I be able to use the wifi calling feature on the G2G n/w? My thinking: the IMEI would (should??) be registered w/AT&T…wondering if this would work or if AT&T would again block the feature since it would not be directly on their network.

Thanks Dannydet. I did talk w/Good2Go Mobile's 1st level of support but if they don't have a script in front of them they can't answer my question. They've deferred my request to their "technical" support twice now and I haven't heard back from them.

I've gone w/G2G for to reasons: 1) CHEAP! $20/ mo for 3G of data and unlimited talk/ text. (I'm retired so I need to watch how I spend my shekels ) 2) they use ATT's n/w which covers my physical home location - I'm WAY out in the country.

I'm with Cricket wireless, paying $15 a month for 5gb and owned by AT&T with no contracts.... And they have phones that are Wi-Fi calling compatible, like mine...
