There are a number of woodpeckers down at the river. It's enjoyable to hear them labor and fortunate they are far enough from the cabin that they don't disrupt sleep.

Go on duty get ready to start my daily pre trip and my truck decided to start a Regen (for those non trucker a Regen is basically a soft reset, engine cache clean) it's to help the engine run better

My neverending network housecleaning project led me to this photo today. It's the McMansion that replaced our beautiful, California ranch-style home of my youth. Ugh!

Wow, tacky, but I'd call that a full-on mansion, no Mc needed lol. Can't imagine those California property values and how much money is floating around. Hard enough to survive in Ohio, where it's (supposedly) cheap to live.

It's pretty crazy. That hideous monstrosity, with its dolphin fountain, that replaced my beautiful house is not alone: approximately 80% of the houses on that block met the same fate.

As did the pretty house directly across the street from me. I took pictures of the process; these are just one before and then the framing for the monstrosity that replaced it--blocking part of my view of the mountains.

My current neighborhood in Arcadia hasn't fallen victim yet to being overtaken by McMansions, but it -is- happening. Every time we see a property completely enclosed in a black fence we say, oh shit! there goes another one...

For several years I was plagued by phone calls, visits, and letters from Realtors wanting to buy my house property. They were all Asian, and they all represented clients in Asia. They thought the phrase "all cash!" would impress me. It didn't. [I own my home outright.] I finally got sick of it; I told each one I don't care how much they offer me [the last offer was $1.7M], I will NEVER let this house fall to a wrecking ball, and we BOTH know that's exactly what its fate would be. I also said it's stipulated in my trust that my daughter must pass it down, in perpetuity, so they needn't call back until at least 100 years from now!

That when welted down, my soul ultimately heals by thy hand, and no one else to touch it free though, even by the hands upon different types of collectiveness, and still where is the time with one another?

I feel even more ill with that phantomless vacant lot of her own, her ghost of a thought still lingered on and on, but I need a break from her.
Everything feels so Iphone vs. what I want her to feel to me, like as of an android device..

The morons who think that 5G is responsible for Covid-19 and burn down the masts, and abuse Phone engineers installing Fibre or just responding to a homeowner's fault.
Oh, and they seem to mainly be anti-vaxxers too. And they probably believe in Erich Von Daniken's god-like aliens. Whatever happened to critical thinking? Why is such a fundamental skill not taught in all schools?

my Mother just realised she may have Convid by coming not in contact with someone, with some local yolkal down here, about when I ran out of meds,
but I am perfectly okay since my Docs appotiment last week, got my blood work donw and they said "I am all good clear as a bell." wich is exciting news, my reign will be forever immortalized buwahahaa.. I just wish everyone around my mother was more careful though around her peers.

My bleeping truck every month there seems to be some issue with it. This month my compressor went out. The problem was discovered Friday afternoon unfortunately the mechanics won't be able to fix the issue till Monday
